Eastbrook Wins Prestigious Award 2010
Staff and students at Eastbrook School are now the proud recipients of a special award from the London Education Partnership.
The school triumphed in the “Supporting Journeys” category which recognises excellent professional practice in student support. This award, sponsored by The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust is given where excellent professional practice in curriculum and student support highlights the importance of enriching and enhancing the experience of all learners and raising standards of achievement
The award was presented by London Mayoral hopeful Oona King at a reception held at London University Institute of Education.
Headteacher Valerie Dennis commented “The last three years have seen Eastbrook School rise from being in special measures to being one of the most improved schools in London. This award is very special to us as it acknowledges the partnership work we have promoted to ensure that we will continue to improve.”
